Our youth ministry is a very active group who are passionate about sharing their faith with others, serving the church, and seeking to know God better. We have many opportunities for the youth to grow in the faith, make life long friendships, and help put what they learn into practice. 412Youth is for teens from 6th-12th grades.
412 Sunday School Class - 10am Our Sunday School time if focused on learning the Bible better so that we can share our faith freely. We have learned things such as: Why do I believe what I believe, How to Share the Gospel with My Friends, How Do I Better Understand the Bible, and Building a Strong Foundation.
412 Youth Wednesday Bible Study (during the school year) - 6:30pm Wednesday Nights are a little less formal than Sundays. We typically open up with an ice breaker game, fellowship, and then have a 30 minute Bible study together. Our Bible studies are usually based on topics that our students have questions about or that they have interests in. In the ever changing society we live in, it is important for our youth to have answers from the Bible to the issues that society presents.
Monthly Activities Once a month we get together on a Friday or Saturday to have an activity together. These activities are a great time for youth to bring their friends and enjoy fellowship with the youth group. Some activities we have done include: Hiking to a waterfall, Escape Rooms, Bond Fires, Movie Nights, ECT.
Service Opportunities We believe that one of the best ways for our youth to learn to be leaders and practice their faith is to be an active part of the ministry of Grace. Our youth are involved in a monthly Nursing Home ministry. We also hold a youth night once a month at church where our young people take part in the service playing instruments, singing, and taking offering. Many of our youth also sing in the choir on Sunday mornings, help with children's church, help in the sound room, or with other needs around the church.
